libvpd-2.2-2 software package provides VPD Database access library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libvpd-2.2-2
libvpd-2.2-2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libvpd-2.2-2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvpd-2.2-2 *
You will get with libvpd-2.2-2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
